ABOUT ME
For me, creating is about being present in the moment. I started using yarn in my art when I was young and it became something that was calming for me. As an art therapist, it is sometimes hard to view myself as an artist because many times it isn’t the ending piece of artwork but rather the steps that it took me to get there that are so important. I enjoy working with yarn, charcoal, and oil paints. I think the repetition is what draws me to crochet because on some level I can get lost in the pattern. The art process is the healing process.
